Stonehenge, a man-made circular formation of stones, is in Wiltshire, England. It is unknown why it was built or who built it, but it was built in stages from 2800 BC to 1800 BC.  One reason for building could be for astronomy observation. The mysterious circle seems to be set up to observe special astronomical phenominons- such as eclipses. But theories on why it was built still range to human sacrifice.  (This thought runs via the scholarly, over educated, serial killer mentality individual... What do you think?)
